Tool 1 provides guidance on the types of questions, considerations and actions that can be applied at various stages of the procurement process to:

• raise awareness
• identify risks
• take proactive steps to prevent modern slavery.

It is part of a comprehensive toolkit designed to assist government buyers and suppliers in addressing modern slavery and implementing the measures outlined in the Eliminating Modern Slavery in Government Supply Chains initiative.
