Queensland Government Procurement Assurance Portal: Guidance
On this page
The Queensland Government Procurement Assurance Portal is a secure online tool that enables government agencies to engage with ethical suppliers.
It supports accountability with the Procurement Assurance Model (PAM) and the Queensland Government Supplier Code of Conduct (the Code) by providing up-to-date supplier accountability information.
Key features
The Assurance Portal enables agencies to:
- verify supplier accountability – check a supplier’s history of unmet commitments to the Code, reducing reputational and financial risks
- make informed decisions – access point-in-time information on supplier outcomes for moderate and major unmet commitments
- ensure transparency – provide a centralised record of supplier outcomes to maintain consistency in procurement processes
- assess supplier suitability – evaluate suppliers effectively using whole-of-government information, including ongoing contentious investigations.
Before engaging a supplier, check the Assurance Portal to confirm that preferred or shortlisted tenderers are not sanctioned.
This check is not required in the following circumstances:
- the agency is engaging a pre-qualified supplier (refer to Appendix 1 in the PAM Framework for the definition of a pre-qualified supplier)
- the procurement value is less than the general exemption threshold of $50,000 (including GST) as outlined in the Queensland Procurement Policy (QPP).
