Digital Economy Leaders Sub-Group

The Digital Economy Leaders Sub-Group (the Sub-Group) provides ongoing leadership to government in relation to the government’s economy-wide digital reform agenda with a particular focus on:

• direction setting
• policy and frameworks
• digital portfolio optimisation
• investment strategy.

The Sub-Group has strategic oversight of the delivery of the Our Thriving Digital Future: Queensland’s Digital Economy Strategy and Action Plan 2023 – 2026.

Decision making authority

The Sub-Group provides advice and support to the CEO Leadership Board in relation to the management of the Queensland Government’s digital portfolio. These responsibilities include endorsement of Queensland Government Enterprise Architecture artefacts prior to final approval, and strategic oversight and assurance of significant digital and ICT investments. The Sub-Group may make recommendations to agency CEOs in relation to strategic and directional issues for investment initiatives.
