Support for sustainable tourism in Queensland

Read how tourism, climate and market data is helping Queensland Government agencies  to make informed decisions and proactively manage risks.

The Queensland Tourism Resilience Platform supports sustainable and resilient tourism development for the state. Designed for use by government departments, councils and regional tourism organisations, the platform provides tourism, economic, climate, and market data to inform decisions and prepare for risks.

Platform features

Key features include:

  • an inventory of tourism products, experiences, and infrastructure
  • regional demand projections to guide investment
  • geospatial mapping tools to assess disaster risks and climate impacts.

New funding from the Disaster Ready Fund ensures the platform is continually updated with the latest insights for Queensland Government entities. This update comes at a critical time as the state builds momentum toward the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
