Round 2 Consultation sessions – Mandatory Standards
Draft Standards
QSA has released its draft Mandatory Standards and supporting Guidelines for consultation:
- Mandatory Standard 1 – Make and Keep
- Guideline for Mandatory Standard 1 – Make and Keep
- Mandatory Standard 2 – Disposal
- Guideline for Mandatory Standard 2 – Disposal
Written response consultation closed on 16 May 2025.
Written response
As part of our consultation on our draft Mandatory Standards and supporting Guidelines, QSA is requested a written response from records practitioners within each Queensland public authority.
An online survey was the main mechanism for providing a consolidated response from each public authority about the mandatory standards. This survey was sent by Vision6 email to records practitioners on 23 April 2025.
Your feedback is important for the successful development and implementation of the Standards and the supporting Guidelines.
Written feedback opened 23 April and closed on 16 May 2025.
Consultation sessions
To support the implementation of the Public Records Act 2023, QSA provided a second round of online consultation sessions on our draft Mandatory Standards and supporting Guidelines.
We greatly appreciated the open feedback and responses we received throughout the online consultation sessions. The next round of consultation will focus on Chief Executives of public authorities before we finalise our draft Mandatory Standards and supporting Guidelines.
You can now view a recording of one of the online consultation sessions:
