Cybersecurity Insights Dashboard
Learn about the Cybersecurity Insights Dashboard and how it supports IS18 reporting, including Essential Eight reporting requirements.
The Cybersecurity Insights Dashboard (CID), previously known as the Essential Eight Dashboard, provides a real-time visual display of selected baseline technical controls from the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) included in the Queensland Government Information and Cyber Security Policy (IS18).
The dashboard automates compliance checks against control settings and implementations within Microsoft 365 licensed environments. Providing you with timely and consistent information to support cyber security decision-making. Over time, it aims to reduce the cost, time and effort associated with the elements of IS18 audits that relate to CID-measured controls.
The dashboard provides greater visibility and simplifies the compliance assessment reporting process. It covers a wider array of controls compared to the traditional Information security annual return process. It also allows you control more output measures for reporting.
Created for non-technical users this tool helps present assurance data in a user-friendly format.
The following eligible agencies and related bodies can access this service at no cost:
- Queensland Government agencies
- statutory bodies
- local government
- government owned corporations.
The dashboard will be rolled out in phases starting with Queensland Government agencies.
