Microsoft 365 Secure Score dashboard
The Queensland Government Customer and Digital Group offers a consolidated Microsoft 365 Secure Score dashboard service to better understand Microsoft 365 security posture initiatives across agencies.
The Secure Score dashboard reports a numerical summary of your security posture based on system configurations, user behaviour, and other security-related measurements. A higher number indicates improvement actions are required using security components available in Microsoft 365 tenancies to achieve a secure score.
You can compare your secure score to the average score of other Queensland Government agencies, as well as get actionable recommendations on how to improve your security posture.
Queensland Government administers over 100 separate Microsoft 365 and Azure tenancies which support office productivity and collaboration services across government. The distributed nature of these differing environments allows for duplication of effort across multiple agencies in improving their cyber security posture. There is also a lack of visibility of the adoption and performance of these environments from a whole-of-government perspective.
Using this service helps enable Queensland Government agencies to meet their obligations under the Information Security Policy (IS18:2018) and improve cyber security maturity.
