SES - Land search and casualty exercise

On Saturday 24 June 2023 Queensland Police Service (QPS), State Emergency Service (SES) and Paramedic Students from the University of Southern Queensland (USC) participated in a large scale exercise which simulated an aircraft crash with multiple injuries.

Exceptional professionalism was displayed by all in attendance and a valuable learning experience in a controlled environment. Well done to everyone who took part. As part of the Police and Emergency Services Reform, SES will sit under the banner of QPS when legislation is passed next year.
