RIT Fortnightly Newsletter - Proclamation update - Welcome SES and MRQ - June 2024
Find out more about the Disaster and Emergency Services Reform.
On Monday evening 7 August, Deputy Commissioner of the Queensland Police Service Shane Chelepy was invited to Ipswich to liaise with local SES members. It was a fantastic opportunity to provide an update on the Disaster and Emergency Management Reforms.
Members in attendance were an extremely engaged and passionate group of people. These sessions allow the Deputy who is the State Disaster and Emergency Management Coordinator to speak directly with members and reassure them through this period of reform.

These engagement sessions allow SES members to ask questions and seek clarity. Further engagement sessions are planned across the state along with a variety of other engagement activities planned in person or virtually.
