On Monday 7 August 2023 our SES Virtual Training Townhalls commenced. Each region across the state will be given the opportunity to participate online in an  open and transparent conversation with our Business Reform Coordinators Steve Dabinett from the Reform Implementation Taskforce and Acting Assistant Commissioner Brian Cox from the State Emergency Service.

The purpose of the Townhalls is to seek your feedback, so we can make improvements to how training occurs within SES in the future. These improvements will form back of the broader emergency services reform and will be part of transitioning SES to QPS next year.

Feedback is sought on the following:

What currently works well?  Things we should keep doing.

What is OK but could be improved? Things we can live with for now.

What is broken from your perspective and needs to be urgently addressed now?

What is your view on registered training v skills based training.

To participate in a session see the full list of dates and times by clicking here and reading our previous ForGov News Article. Your feedback can be provided at anytime by using our contact form by clicking here.
