On Tuesday 29 August and Wednesday 30 August 2023, SES Change Champions from all over Queensland came together in Brisbane for a workshop.

This opportunity built skills in communicating change, sharing best practices and network with their peers, senior leaders from QFE, QPS and the RIT along with support staff who are carrying out the Police and Emergency Services Reforms.

The Change Champions Network Workshop was  a two-day event designed to equip Change Champions with the skills, knowledge and tools needed to support the transition from QFES to QPS.

The Workshop marks the start date of the activation of our Change Champions Network. The key enabler for the success of the transition. We look forward to your participation and contributions in ensuring the success of the change process.

If you have questions or concerns about the transition reach out to a Change Champion in your area, they are going to be a wealth of knowledge and will support you over these coming months while the transition is underway.

Can you spare a few minutes? Watch our Leaders Panel and hear from Deputy Commissioner Michael Wassing (QFES) Deputy Commissioner Shane Chelepy (QPS) and Business Reform Coordinator Steve Dabinett (RIT) who shared some insights and updates.
