eInvoicing Project
About the project
Queensland Shared Services (QSS) has completed an eInvoicing pilot, which arose from a previous Council of Australian Governments (COAG) commitment by all Australian government jurisdictions to reduce red tape for business.
QSS is enabling eInvoicing for QSS customer agencies on the SAP rest-of-government (RoG) system from 1 July 2025.
What’s eInvoicing?
eInvoicing is a digital exchange between a buyer and supplier that uses a common, agreed standard that provides a more efficient, secure and accurate method for invoicing.
Australia has adopted the Peppol framework as the common standard and network for eInvoicing.
