October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month
National Cyber Security Awareness Month is a timely reminder of the importance of protecting our organisation, colleagues, and communities from cyber threats.
If you’re thinking about a career change to a digital role, it’s useful to know how certain personality traits are suited to different roles. In many cases personality is just as important as having the right skills.
The Queensland Government is offering a free online tool, MyCareerMatch, to anyone, including employees, considering a digital career.
MyCareerMatch is designed to help people find out what their personality type and soft skills are, and which digital careers they’re best suited to.
You might be surprised by the roles that you are matched to. For example, if you're an innovative person, you might be matched to roles like a robotics system engineer.
To use the tool, simply visit MyCareerMatch and answer a series of questions. You’ll then be emailed a report matching your skills and interests with the digital careers and study areas suited to you.
Take the quiz and get your personalised report.
This work is part of the Queensland Government’s commitment to supply additional digital professionals by investing in skilling and reskilling, and attracting a broader range of people into digital careers.
