Reform Implementation Taskforce Steering Committee (RITSC)
Purpose
The Steering Committee is the peak governance and advisory body that provides a balanced cross-agency perspective for the Taskforce and reports to the Special Coordinator for Police and Emergency Services Reform. It is a temporary governance structure established to govern, guide, and advise the Taskforce so that it can effectively coordinate the multi-agency Reform Program with its constituent subprograms, projects and activities that will achieve their specific objectives, outcomes, and benefits in line with the goals of the Government reforms.
The Steering Committee guides and provides strategic advice and decisions that will inform the activities of other governance bodies and reference groups within the Taskforce management structure. It will also seek advice from other committees, working and reference groups in relation to their specific domains.
