Outcomes

The CABWG will provide advice and guidance concerning cross-agency and agency-specific capabilities, business policies, processes, business systems and resourcing. This includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Identification of key business units or central functioned areas within individual agencies critical to delivering transition related scope and solutions
  • Guidance on business requirements within workstreams (e.g: legislation and policy, finance, human resources, assets, records/information and/or ICT) with a particular focus on integrated cross-agency matters within the RIT scope of work
  • Provide a collegiate platform to discuss and comprehend the challenges that may be confronting the agencies specific to operational and capability delivery across multiple streams of work
  • Provide feedback and advice in relation to cross-agency issues associated with proposed legislation and policy changes
  • A means to surface any key agency concerns or needs that may require multi-agency solutions or input
  • Provide task prioritisation where there may be conflict due to resource availability, resource capacity, product deliverable slippage, or funding
  • Identify and monitor key cross-agency dependencies
  • Work closely with the Design Authority to assist the RIT Program with the change process in order for the agencies to gain optimal benefits from Program activity
  • Provide a point of reference for the Taskforce Executive and RIT Workstream Leads to test strategies and assumptions in the delivery of products during critical stages of program and project activity
  • Ensuring that the transition program/project activities adequately consider agency accountability, leadership, direction, risk management and the transparency of change impost on the respective organisations, and assistance to agencies to deliver a coordinated change process for each agency to maximise the likelihood of a smooth transition and stand-up of the new structures resulting from transition related activities.
