About

From mid-May to early June 2025, the Human Rights Unit from the Department of Justice will embark on a regional roadshow to deliver free face-to-face training on human rights for public sector employees.

Each training session will provide:

  • a thorough introduction to the Human Rights Act 2019 (HR Act) including its history and significance
  • an overview of the obligations the HR Act places on all Queensland public sector employees
  • tools to meet these obligations and
  • steps to help build a workplace culture that respects, protects and promotes human rights.
