Human rights training in North and Far North Queensland

The Department of Justice will conduct roadshows in North and Far North Queensland to deliver free human rights training for public sector employees.

The sessions will provide participants with:

• an introduction to the Human Rights Act 2019 (HR Act), including how it was established
• an overview of the obligations the HR Act places on all Queensland public sector employees, including tools to meet these obligations
• steps to help build a culture that respects, protects and promotes human rights in the public sector.
