Module 1: Checkpoint 15—Provide print-friendly versions

Conformance: Mandatory

Requirements

Agencies must include CSS to provide stripped down print-friendly versions of web pages.

Benefits of conformance

  • Users will use less printer ink and less paper when printing web pages.

Risks of non-conformance

  • Inefficient print versions increases costs for users in toner or ink.

Implementation advice

Use the CUE template ( http://www.qld.gov.au/gov/cue-template ) to ensure conformance to this requirement.
