Purpose: Promote a department or agency

Campaign website

Public/private: Public
Purpose: Raise awareness or educate the public about a particular topic or initiative (i.e. with a goal of behavioural/social change).
Note: Used for time-limited content that cannot be delivered through a 'franchise.'

Data Portal

Purpose: The Data Portal is a single location for hosting raw Queensland Government data (unformatted CSV, XML, etc.) that is suitable for public release under an open licence

Publications Portal

Purpose: The Publications Portal is a single location for hosting Queensland Government non-HTML documents and files (e.g. DOC and PDF).

Extranet

Public/private: Private
Purpose: Securely share organisational information and services with authorised external groups, either by having a login area, or using GovNet or similar platforms, which are only accessible to certain groups.
Publishing requirements:
Audience: Partners, suppliers, project managers, other government agencies or departments

Intranet

Purpose: Securely share organisational information and services with internal staff.

Statutory authority website

Public/private: Public
Purpose: Provide a web presence for an independent body set up (usually under specific legislation and sometimes as a separate legal entity to government) to enact legislation on behalf of government or provide government with strategic advice.
